Prof. Nancy IP is a world-renowned neuroscientist and internationally recognized for her pioneering research in molecular neuroscience. By integrating multi-omics analysis in human and functional studies, she has contributed to the discovery of diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets of Alzheimer’s disease.

Scientific Consultant

Prof. Amy FU's research work aims to delineate the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying Alzheimer’s disease. She focuses on the discovery of therapeutic targets of Alzheimer’s disease in the innate immune and blood systems by elucidating their causal roles using genetic association analysis and in vitro and in vivo studies. She has published over 90 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Prof. Fu’s research findings have provided a strong basis for the development of new therapeutic strategies.

Dr. Fanny IP

Dr. Fanny has published more than 50 scientific papers in reputable journals and holds 35 patents. Her research in early years focused on understanding the roles of neurotrophic factors in neuromuscular junction formation and after nerve injury. She and her team develop Chinese herbal compounds into novel treatments for neurodegenerative and neurological disorders using cutting-edge disease models and platforms.

Dr. Kin Ying MOK

Dr. Kin Ying MOK research interests focus on the areas of Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson disease. He has published multiple papers on the genetic basis of neurological diseases including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and motor neuron disease.

Dr. Jimmy HE serves as the Scientist of R&D team of Cognitact. Dr. HE received his PhD degree in Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023. His passion and experience in molecular biology and proteomics research will drive the company’s R&D operations.

Ms. Minerva S.T. CHENG

Ms. Minerva CHENG is our Phlebotomist. She has accumulated nearly 8 years of professional experience in blood collection technique. She has worked as a Patient Care Assistant in many public hospitals with caring communicating skills with patients and relatives. Ms. Cheng has also worked in an imaging centre, providing professional blood collection and electrocardiogram services to customers of different age groups. Her rich experience plays an important role in meeting the company's growing service demand.
